Styrene Mirror Products
Styrene Mirror Products have been developed to enhance and beautify interior surfaces.
The plastic material is suitable for a wide range of decorative applications.
The basic material is a polystyrene sheet, which is laminated with a very thin printed coating.
All our products are protected by a plastic film which should be removed only when the application is completed.
Cutting, Punching, Drilling must be done on the front of the styrene mirrors, never on the back. The use of a saw is not recommended.
Ideal application temperatures are between 15C – 30C.A temperature increase of 10C will cause the styrene mirror to stretch by approximately 0.7 mm over a length. When joining sheets, allow a gap of approximately 0.5 mm to 1 mm for expansion. Styrene mirror is not recommended for use in direct sunlight or temperatures above 60C. Styrene mirror is flammable and should not be used near open fires or sources of extreme heat.
For heavy dirt use any conventional glass cleaner. For light dirt use a soft cloth. Always use a clean soft cloth made from non-abrasive fiber. Best results will come from the use of chamois.
Styrene mirrored products are not suitable for applications that require contact with water or an extremely damp environment. Areas of application, shop and trade fair design, display area, theatre and stage decoration, furniture applications, Interior design and other decorative purposes.
